Stainless Steel 321/321H Pipes & Tubes are one of the best range of stainless steel alloy grade that is extensively used in various industrial applications. Knowing about its grade these tubes & pipes are designed from the most popular Stainless Steel 321/321H alloy that is austenitic 18/8 steel stabilized with titanium alloy.
These alloy steel results in superior resistance to creep and general corrosion. Furthermore, these are susceptible to chloride stress cracking at high-temperature conditions. The alloy offers superior resistance to intergranular corrosion when exposing to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800-1500 degree F.
The presence of high carbon content enhances superior tensile strength at a temperature range above 537 degree C. Due to carbon content these tubes& pipes ensures dual certification. Both these grades are not hardened by heat treatment thus these are only cold worked. The pipes & tubes are readily welded by the standard welding practices that possess superior weldability.
Hence, the general characteristics found in both the version are excellent corrosion resistance, high tensile strength, great pitting resistance to chloride ion solution, crevice corrosion resistance and excellent stress crack corrosion resistance.
