Alloy descriptions-
316 steel is nickel-chromium-based SS that is having molybdenum and it increases corrosion and pitting resistance at chloride ion solutions and increases strength at high temperature. 316L is low carbon content alloy and is sensitization immune and is used at heavy gauge welded components. 316H is high carbon alloy used at high-temperature services. The alloy is having high strength at high temperature and is used at the application at the temperature more than 500 Deg C. It is having high yielding and tensile strength and is non-magnetic at the annealed condition. 316Ti is having high mechanical and temperature strength and is called as AISI 316Ti, supra 316Ti etc.
