Insights of 904L grade: It has a rigid structure having a uniform structure in all cross-sections, hence it has lower porosity.

SS 904L alloy is known as (UNS N08904). The 904L alloys have an austenitic SS structure that is designed to down to moderate corrosion resistance environments. These round bars also provide resistance to general and local corrosion also utilized in adverse environments. Additionally, it has copper content that improves corrosion resistance to reducing media such as hot organic and inorganic compounds. These round bars are readily machined and fabricated by using the standard shop fabrication process. The round bars are mainly formed with the hot and cold working process. These are also subjected to cold working operations to retain a high level of mechanical constant.
